**The opportunity**:
We have a wonderful opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Slade Pharmacy located within the Wesley Hospital, on a full-time 12 month contract. This is an exciting opportunity to partner with healthcare professionals, gain invaluable hospital experience, and deliver optimum patient-centred care and pharmacy operations.

The pharmacy operates from 7:30am - 8:00pm weekdays, and 7:30am - 5:00pm on weekends, with varying start times during those times.

**In this role, you’ll**:

- Deliver high level pharmacy services to the hospital staff, patients and customers
- Dispense and supply medications for hospital and oncology patients
- Assist with imprest and pharmacy inventory management
- Undertake delivery and collection of medications to hospital wards
- Complete data entry of patient specific information into database
- Assist with patient account enquiries
- Liaise with hospital staff and associated employees
- Assist the pharmacy teams with any general administration

Slade Pharmacy Wesley is conveniently located on level 2 of the Wesley Hospital (on the left-hand side of the main entrance, behind admissions). The pharmacy provides a wide range of products and services to inpatients of the Wesley Hospital, as well as non-PBS dispensing and non-prescription items for outpatients and staff.

- Preferred Requirements:_
- Dispensing experience in an Australian based hospital or community pharmacy
- Certificate in pharmacy (community or hospital) or equivalent
