**The opportunity**:
We are looking for a Pharmacy Technician/Assistant to join our team at Icon Pharmacy Wesley Specialist Centre, in a permanent full-time capacity to help deliver optimum patient-centred care and pharmacy operations.

**In this role, you can**:

- Dispense medications
- Counsel patients on over-the-counter medicines
- Learn to mix cancer therapies in a drug safety cabinet or using a closed-system safety device
- Assist with customer and clinic queries
- Provide administrative duties and support
- Process orders and manage inventory
- Plus many more opportunities for growth and development

The pharmacy operates weekdays from 6:30am to 5:30pm, with four technician roles to rotate through every two weeks, with varying start times.

**Who are we looking for?**
- Be committed to providing patient-centred care
- Have experience dispensing medication in an Australian based pharmacy
- Be able to address patient needs with confidentiality, sensitivity and professionalism
- Have a high attention to detail
- The ability to work in a team environment
- Preferred _Requirements:

- Dispensing experience in an Australian based hospital or community pharmacy
- Dispensary Technician Certificate or equivalent as recognised by the Pharmacy Board of Australia
