**About the role**

CatholicCare Diocese of Broken Bay provides Supported Independent Living (SIL) supports in Manly, Sydney. This program provides quality care and services to residents. As a Team Leader of this program, you will be responsible for developing program schedules according to our participant needs, day to day management and rostering of staff and exceptional client/stakeholder engagement. The role will include direct support with participants.

This is a Permanent Full-time position. The role will be require to participate in a rotating after hours on-call roster.

**Duties**
- An ability to lead and inspire a team of Residential Support Workers.
- A clear understanding of how to develop and achieve person-centred plan objectives for our residents.
- Strong and clear communication skills to foster positive relationships with all stakeholders to ensure client outcomes are exceeded; as well as
- A variety of task which may include provision of personal care to our clients.

**Requirements**:

- Tertiary qualifications in an appropriate area e.g., Social Work, Habitation, Social Science, Welfare, Psychology, Health, Education or related discipline and/or a minimum of two years’ experience in the field;
- Sound knowledge of accommodation, group and/or shared living arrangements, and the needs of individuals with disabilities
- Proven ability to lead and develop a team and foster team work
- First Aid Certification
- NSW Driver’s Licence
- An understanding of NDIS, as well as Disability Service Standards and relevant legistation
