Security Analyst, 6 month contract role, $900 +Super

This role sits within a government organisation with a head office in Western Sydney. You will work with one of the leading agencies in government with an excellent reputation in a highly productive team. The organisation is focused on providing sustainable, efficient and cost-effective services.
**Your new role**
The primary purpose of the role is to focus on the day to day security operations activities which will include Information / Cyber Security threat and vulnerability identification and mitigation, 3rd party risk management and compliance reporting and development and Maintenance of Information Security Standards, procedures and related documentation.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Proven experience as a Computer Security Specialist
- Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g NIST Cybersecurity framework) and risk management methodologies
- Proven experience triaging and responding to sophisticated security incidents
- Demonstrate strong technical security knowledge (i.e vulnerabilities, incident detection, windows/Linux OS)
**What you'll get in return**
