About the Role:
We are looking for empathetic and dedicated Disability Support Workers to join our

dynamic team. This role involves providing high-quality care and support to individuals with

disabilities, enabling them to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist clients with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and

household activities.
- Facilitate participation in community engagements, educational programs, and

employment opportunities.
- Offer emotional and social support, fostering positive and respectful relationships.
- Implement individualized care plans and encourage clients to achieve their personal

objectives.
- Maintain accurate records and promptly report any changes in clients’ needs or

conditions.
- Comply with organizational policies, particularly health and safety protocols.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

- Prior experience in disability support or a similar field (preferred but not essential).
- Specialized Training:

- Bowel Care Management.
- PEG Feeding Competency (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy).
- Epilepsy Management, including administering emergency medication.
- CPAP/BI-PAP management for respiratory support.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Genuine empathy and passion for helping others.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays.

Essential Requirements:

- Relevant qualifications such as Certificate III or IV in Disability Support, Individual

Support, or an equivalent certification (highly regarded).
- Current certifications in First Aid, CPR, and Manual Handling.
- Valid Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle.
- A current Working with Children Check and National Police Check (or willingness

to obtain).
- Mandatory NDIS Worker Screening Check.
