**How will I help?**
This role sits within the Government Notices Unit (GNU) which is a part of the Financial Crime & Fraud Prevention team within Operational Services. As the Risk Analyst (GNU) your role will include requesting documentation that will help solve investigations on a variety of matters such as missing persons, identify theft, money laundering, fraud and homicide cases. You’ll be responsible for affidavits, subpoenas or notices to product documents for Federal and State Police investigations as well as third party requests mainly originating from government agencies.

You’ll be required to provide accurate information to the requesting regulatory body and ensure that all work is treated with a sense of urgency and actioned within specified time frames. You’ll use and comply with legislation, procedures and controls that balance service expectations and adhere to Westpac Group policies and procedures relating to things such as Health & Safety and Risk & Compliance.

**What do I need?**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Understanding of Anti Money Laundering / Counter Terrorism Finance & Sanctions Operations desired
- An understanding of overall business processes, support systems and tools - including AOM practices
- An ability to utilise business metrics to manage operations and drive efficiency
- Demonstrated experience in relationship management for internal stakeholders
- Experience in an operational team desired
