**THE ROLE**

Disability Homes Victoria is initiating a time limited project to plan and deliver a direct resident engagement project with over 2,500 residents living in Supported Disability Accommodation (SDA). You will be working to ensure that all residents are provided with contemporary information relating to their home and the service they receive from the Department in accessible formats that is responsive to their needs. The Engagement Officer plays a central role in the delivery of an engagement project reaching out to residents living in department owned Specialist Disability Accommodation. The engagement officer is part of a small team, where you will be responsible for communicating and engaging residents, their families and supports in delivering the departments new SDA Service Agreement and the departments role as landlord. You will work with teams across the DHV branch and external stakeholders such as Supported Independent Living Providers.

**ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE**
- Build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate a partnership approach and work collaboratively and pro-actively to build and maintain positive relationships with key external stakeholders, including our residents, to deliver on the project.
- Contribute to delivery of an engagement process with SDA residents, families and stakeholders.
- Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and regulatory requirements, conducting regular reviews and evaluations to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
