A professional and loving family in Hendra, QLD are seeking a nurturing and experienced nanny to care for their 2 girls (5 yr old and 18 month old).

**The days and normal hours are -3 days per week**

Wednesday - Friday 7.45am - 3.45pm

The family is seeking a nanny who is engaging, fun to be around but also
nurturing, calm, patient and highly responsible..

A nanny who can structure their day, follow the children’s routines and provide fun, creative and stimulating indoor and outdoor activities that will assist in the children’s development.

A nanny who is prioritises children’s safety, is trustworthy, reliable,
adaptive and able to form a special bond with the whole family and stay
on a long term basis.

The role will mostly consist of taking care of the younger child as the older
child attends school. During school holidays the nanny will care for both
children.

**The carer’s responsibilities for this role will be as follows -**
- To care for the children
- Follow the children's routine including nap time for the youngest
child
- Play and engage with the children and create developmentally
suitable activities, in an indoor and outdoor environment
- Light household duties - Tidying and clearing, dishes, vacuum, mop, make children’s beds.
- Help prep/cook meals for the children
- Children's laundry

**The family’s expectations from their nanny are -**
- Must have a minimum of 3+ years nanny or childcare experience
- Have a current first aid certificate
- Children’s CPR is highly desirable
- Have a current Blue Card
- Display strong communication skills and speak english
- Child Safety Practices
- Full Drivers licence and clean driving record
- Experience cooking/preparing nutritious meals and food
safety skills
