e have an opportunity for an A**ccreditation Consultant t**o work within CASG. CA40 is part of the LC4 Sustainment SPO, overseeing various Land C4 capabilities that enhance situational awareness and support rapid decision-making during operations. The role involves providing technical assurance support, including verifying security requirements and conducting technical reviews of security documentation. This encompasses threat modeling, security architecture, software code reviews, policies, plans, designs, security compliance, and certification. You will possess experience in the following areas: P
- roviding advice and guidance to the system owner on the assessment process; P
- roviding advice and guidance throughout all phases of the system development, on mitigation strategies and controls to effectively reduce risk within an acceptable risk tolerance; M
- aintaining independence throughout the assessment process; C
- onducting an assessment against current security policy and standards to assess residual risk and address any specific requirements of the CA; P
- roviding a Certification Report to the CA which articulates the risks(s) and recommendation(s); M
- aintaining evidence of activities conducted during a Certification Assessment; and A
- ccepted as certification consultant by the ICT Security Branch. A

- urrent NV2 security clearance E
- xperience with deployed Defence ICT Networks. S
- ystem and Network Administration experience. E
- xperience with operational broadband and narrowband communications systems. S
- ecurity certification and accreditation experience. C
- ertification in one of the following: C
- ertified Information Security Manager (CISM) C
- ertified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) G
- lobal Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) Security Leadership Certificate (GSLC) A
- uditing qualification in one of the following: C
- ertified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) C
- ertified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) Information Security Registered Assessors Program (IRAP)
- M
