Join Brandbank Group as our **Group Logistics Manager**, where you’ll lead and optimise our end-to-end logistics operations, driving efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and business growth.
As the **Group Logistics Manager**, you will oversee the distribution network, third-party logistics providers (3PL), and warehouse operations, ensuring seamless supply chain operations that align with our business objectives. This role will involve close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to deliver exceptional service, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
**THE ROLE**:
- Develop and execute strategic plans for receiving, warehousing, and distribution to support business growth.
- Drive operational excellence in logistics and warehousing to meet financial and service delivery targets.
- Manage forward planning for peak periods and ensure compliance with domestic and international freight requirements.
- Oversee 3PL providers and internal warehouses, optimizing operations for efficiency and cost control.
- Negotiate and manage domestic transport contracts, ensuring compliance and accessibility.
- Monitor transport compliance and collaborate with partners for seamless operations.
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements across logistics operations.
- Develop environmental strategies to minimize waste and enhance sustainability.
- Leverage data analytics to monitor and improve logistics performance metrics.
- Prepare and manage annual logistics budgets, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Build strategic vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective and efficient warehouse operations.
- Partner with Planning, Procurement, and Retail Operations teams to align logistics with business goals.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the warehouse team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE**:
- 10+ years of experience in logistics management, with a proven track record of leading complex supply chain operations.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Expertise in managing third-party logistics (3PL) providers and warehouse operations.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain technologies and systems, such as Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transport Management Systems (TMS), and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).
- Demonstrated ability to manage compliance with domestic and international logistics regulations.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify opportunities and drive improvements.
- Strong strategic thinking skills, with the ability to execute operational plans effectively.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills to engage with stakeholders and drive results.
- A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field (highly advantageous)
