Our client is a category leader in financial services. Due to significant growth, they are seeking an established account executive responsible for contributing to the business growth objectives of Insurance Services Team by supporting the team and the Risk Services field team with technical assistance and advice. This position is also responsible for obtaining insurance quotes and processing and assisting with placements as required.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**
Our client is a category leader in financial services. Due to significant growth, they are seeking an established account executive responsible for contributing to the business growth objectives of Insurance Services Team by supporting the team and the Risk Services field team with technical assistance and advice. This position is also responsible for obtaining insurance quotes and processing and assisting with placements as required.
**KEY DUTIES**:
Portfolio Management:
- Manage a portfolio of retail and wholesale insurance risks, focusing on profitable growth and providing consistent and professional advice.
- Respond promptly to inquiries and requests from stakeholders.
- Offer personalized advice to clients and members regarding their general insurance needs.
- Present recommendations and support Risk Account Managers (RAMs) in providing the best options for clients and members.
- Implement general insurance policies based on requests from RAMs.
- Proactively identify and assist members who need to make a complaint, managing the complaint according to risk division procedures and internal dispute resolution requirements (RG271).
- Keep RAMs, members, and clients informed about market trends and their potential impact throughout the year.
Policy Renewal:
- Collaborate with RAMs, members, or clients to gather underwriting information for negotiating, amending, lapsing, or canceling existing insurance arrangements with insurance companies.
- Negotiate insurance terms with underwriters.
- Obtain renewal and payment instructions from RAMs, members, or clients to finalize existing arrangements.
- Prepare renewal documents and ensure timely completion of new policies, attaching relevant specifications to the proposal.
- Ensure policy renewal documents, invoices, and premium collection are handled according to agreed objectives.
Claims:
- Act on behalf of RAMs, members, or clients in settling claims.
- Strive for timely and favorable claim settlements.
- Provide necessary reports on claims to the team and management as required.
Business Development:
- Contribute to retaining existing business.
- Contribute to new business activities, such as targeting prospective clients, handling inquiries, conducting client visits, and engaging in telephone prospecting.
- Collaborate with the marketing team and management to develop key promotional materials.
Other:
- Provide broker support, mentoring, and training.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders, including those within the insurance market.
- Comply with work health and safety standards.
- Adhere to departmental policies and procedures, as well as corporate policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to values and ethos.
- Perform other duties or projects as assigned from time to time.
**REQUIREMENTS AND IDEAL PROFILE**:
- Previous experience in commercial broking, preferably with SMEs.
- Tier 1 RG146 qualification (essential).
- Experience with iBais (desirable)
- Excellent communication, including verbal, written and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy.
