**About the Company**

I'm representing a worldwide developer and owner of renewable energy assets, with an impressive portfolio already in operation within Australia. They have an excellent financial backing, with more projects due to become operational soon.

**About the Role**

As an Investment Analyst, you will assess the financial viability of renewable energy projects to assist with investment decisions. You will then be involved in further commercial negotiations as projects progress. You will be joining an established team with support from some experienced professionals. Renewable energy or infrastructure experience is preferred, however other suitable backgrounds will be considered.

**Responsibilities**
- Identifying and evaluating new renewable energy project opportunities across Australia
- Conducting financial analysis, risk assessments, and market research to evaluate potential investment opportunities
- Run and interpret financial models to assess project feasibility, projected returns, and risks
- Provide recommendations based on comprehensive analysis, presenting findings to senior management, and assisting in strategic decision-making
- Involvement with commercial negotiations

**Skills & Experience**
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of financial concepts, investment principles, and risk management
- Experience in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and investment analysis
- Familiarity with the renewable energy sector, including solar, wind, hydro, and energy storage projects
- Proficiency in financial software tools and data analysis platforms
- Excellent communication skills to present data and negotiate commercial terms
