**What You'll Do**
RBGV is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Technical Officer (Digitising) to support the digitisation of our State Botanical Collection. In this role, you will extract herbarium specimens and library objects for imaging, create high-quality digital images, and ensure they meet strict quality standards. You will maintain digital archives, preserve accurate records, and undertake minor edits in the collections management system. Collaboration is key, as you'll support volunteers, provide constructive feedback, and build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You will also oversee imaging requests, maintain photographic equipment, and stay up to date with emerging technologies to improve workflows. This role includes contributing to planning processes, assisting with tours and presentations, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
