About the Role
The NDIS Relationship Manager is responsible for relationship management and business development with a focus on generating new NDIS business for our allied health rehabilitation centres. This role is the face of the company and must represent business to the highest level. It will be a highly dedicated and focused role that will support the growth of business services across different areas of Sydney
Your main functions will be to drive business growth and development through networking and relationship building with key customer stakeholders and direct customers, gaining new leads and business opportunities, managing existing and new customer portfolio’s based in the greater Sydney region.
This position is a central point of contact for all customer enquiries, making a difference in the lives of those with NDIS requirements. It is a customer-centric role with a focus on building strong partnerships and relationships with new and transitioning Participants, Community Services, Networks, and other organisations, with a primary focus on the disability sector.
You will be a Business Development expert, in the healthcare industry. Ideally with a diploma or higher tertiary qualification in a health or human service-related discipline. You come equipped with a sound understanding of the funding models of disability services and a strong suite of contacts. Business Management, Sales and Marketing, Project Management or equivalent will be useful qualifications.
Job Purpose
Working as part of a wider team, you will provide exceptional customer service, needs assessments, service matching and solution sales in order to provide quality outcomes for people with a disability and their families.
**Responsibilities**:
Proven performance in business development / growth in the healthcare space
Possess a database of existing clients and be willing to harness them
Be able to work with KPI's and targets
Converting leads into prospects
Liaising with key referring agents, providing a deep understanding and perspective of our available capacity in all clinics, matching client needs with clinician scope.
Generating and managing new relationship opportunities
Developing networks in the community to foster customer engagement & enquiries.
Build and maintain a viable and stable customer base in your designated region
Consulting with cold and warm leads to provide advice and solutions to participants and help them understand the process
Day to day contact with current accounts
You will utilise your experience in community-based/health business development including disability, mental health, early childhood intervention areas, along with a working knowledge and high-level understanding of NDIS Framework and Funding Model, knowledge and existing relationships in the NDIS network and extensive customer service and/or customer experience marketing practice.

You will have the ability to build relationships over a longer period of time, with gentle persistence that does not bother prospects. You will come with a solutions focussed mindset and approach all opportunities and interactions with kindness and care.
Relevant experience in customer service and NDIS/community services
Business, sales, or marketing management experience is highly desirable
A working understanding of the NDIS is highly desirable
Tertiary qualification in a related field (Degree is desirable)
Commitment to the values, vision and mission of the organisation including leadership and implementation
Sound knowledge of general business practice
Exceptional communication skills, verbal and written
Outstanding planning and organising skills demonstrating initiative when working without direct supervision
Emotional intelligence, resilience and physical capacity to perform the work required
An understanding of an adherence to working within personal and professional boundaries in a multicultural environment
