**About the role**:
Reporting to the Martech and Performance Manager, you monitor, build, and execute on our SEO Strategy across all our Coles Liquor Group (CLG) websites including our B2B and Exclusive Label websites.

You will conduct regular SEO audits to identify areas of improvement and provide recommendations to ensure CLG is meeting all SEO best practices.

On a day-to-day basis, you will manage technical SEO Tactics, content strategy and link building opportunities. You’ll also manage Coles Liquor longtail SEO tactics including creating new pages, optimising existing pages and reporting on new and ongoing SEO activities and campaigns.

You’ll also:

- advise and implement on-site technical optimisations, including metadata, breadcrumbs, product categorisation, redirects, schema, sitemaps, load speeds, on-page content and more
- manage the delivery of the CLG content strategy, aimed at increasing keyword rankings, higher engagement and increase consideration of shop (online/offline)
- accelerate online rankings, traffic and customer engagement through digital content that is well optimised for search and valuable to the customer
- convey the importance of digital content and Search marketing to our content producers to ensure all web assets are well optimised
- manage and optimise the organic search strategy that drives traffic and increases both engagement and revenue
- work closely with the performance manager as well as our external digital agencies to make sure CLG is at the forefront of Search and future innovations
- be the brand guardian across all customer touch points

**About you and your skills**:
We’re looking for a professional with proven experience managing SEO strategy end to end within a retail or FMCG business. You have experience managing external agencies to deliver SEO outcomes and experience across SEO platforms such as SEMRush, ScreamingFrog, Google Search Console, brightedge, AHrefs, MajesticSEO etc.

You’ll also need:

- strong technical skills such as HTML, CSS, JS and SPA (Single Page App) with a good understanding of URL hierarchies, redirects, hygiene factors, schema and page speed.
- in depth understanding of search and content marketing, YMYL and E-A-T principles
- quantitative and analytical skills and can use insights and data to inform strategy and improve performance (Both Excel and Google Sheets are second nature to you)
- a deep understanding of customer acquisition, re-engagement and retention strategies
- outstanding time and project management skills, high attention to detail and the ability to work within tight timeframes
- ability to develop commercial SEO scenarios with quantifiable ROI figures
- strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
- demonstrated track record of Influencing key decision makers to achieve the right outcome for customers
