We are seeking an experienced and capable DCW Field Lead to join our Drilling & Completions (DCW) team within Asset Services. This role plays a critical part in the safe, efficient, and sustainable delivery of drilling, completions, hydraulic fracturing, and workover activities across our operations.

**About the Role**:
Reporting to the DCW Field Superintendent, the DCW Field Lead provides technical and operational leadership on site. You will be the key interface between Origin, contractors, and supporting functions, ensuring that field execution aligns with engineering plans, safety standards, and operational priorities.

This role requires a strong commitment to safety, sound decision-making in complex environments, and the ability to support operational improvement initiatives that contribute to Origin’s decarbonisation and performance objectives.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead the execution of DCW activities in accordance with approved designs and operational procedures
- Provide on-site technical guidance to contractors and field teams to ensure effective and timely delivery
- Uphold Origin’s safety standards by embedding Safe Control of Work and Management of Change processes
- Contribute to incident management, including well control events, and support investigation processes
- Identify and support opportunities for performance improvement and innovation in the field
- Collaborate with engineering, HSE, and asset teams to ensure integrated delivery of activities
- Support team capability uplift through mentoring and leadership presence on site

**About You**

You will bring a strong foundation in field operations, sound judgement under pressure, and a demonstrated ability to lead by example. You will be comfortable working in dynamic, high-risk environments and committed to continuous improvement and operational discipline.

You will demonstrate:

- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in drilling, completion, workover, or well intervention operations
- Proven field leadership capability with a focus on safety and team performance
- Strong technical knowledge of downhole operations
- A current Well Control certification or the ability to obtain one within 6 months of commencement
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence outcomes across teams

Desirable Qualifications and Experience:

- 10+ years of rig-based operational experience
- Engineering qualifications and/or Cert IV in OHS
- Experience in Queensland’s CSG industry or unconventional oil and gas operations
- Demonstrated contribution to efficiency or decarbonisation initiatives
