**About the role;**

Due to continued growth, Liebherr-Adelaide is seeking a suitably experienced Abrasive Blast Operator to compliment afternoon shift (2pm to 10.06pm). Reporting to Team Leader, you will be responsible for the provision of safe, efficient and compliant abrasive blasting and painting operations to the Division’s Re-manufacturing Team and Customers.

**Duties**:

- Clean, prepare & carry out abrasive blasting of components
- Mask, prepare & carry out painting of components
- Carry out blasting work
- Carry out routine maintenance to paint and blast plant and equipment
- Assist with washing and painting of components
- Manage flow of work to ensure other areas of re-manufacturing are not adversely affected
- Undertake housekeeping and housekeeping inspections
- Accurate completion of documentation ie; maintenance requests

**Skills and Experience**:

- Previous demonstrated and relevant experience
- Current High Risk Licence LF, DG, CB
- Current Drivers licence
- Experience / exposure in a remanufacturing environment
- Compliant abrasive blasting and painting operations
- Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively within a team environment
