**The Role**
Due to recent growth, Exact Contracting are looking for an experienced Quarry Manager to join their team and work on remote civil construction projects in Central Australia.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day to day operations of our quarrying activities.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Management of all day to day quarrying activities, including:

- Drill & blast activities
- Load and haul of materials
- Crushing of material to required specifications
- Quality management
- Ensuring all quarrying operations are completed in a safe manner;
- Adopting and promoting Exact’s commitment to safety in all operations;
- Comprehensive understanding of all contractual requirements in relation to quarrying KPI’s; and
- Providing effective leadership and supervision through presence, direction, guidance and feedback to teams and individuals.

**The successful applicant will have**:

- Current driver’s licence;
- WA unrestricted Quarry Managers qualification (essential);
- Completion of S1, S2 and S3 qualifications (essential);
- Experience in quarry supervisory/management role (essential);
- More than 5 years previous quarrying/earthworks experience (essential);
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including MS Project;
- Effective planning ability, time management, and prioritisation;
- Ability to demonstrate interpersonal skills and manage others; and
- Excellent ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external key stakeholders.
