We strive for perfection, and our commitment to delivering the finest work is unwavering.** **Now, as we continue on this exciting journey, we're on the lookout for a Production Supervisor to ensure that we maintain high volume and quality in the cabinets that we make.** **Production Supervisor - Cabinetry & Joinery**: **About the Role**: Since we became the sole supplier to GemLife, we have had an increase in the volume of kitchens and other cabinetry required at our multiple locations. We are seeking a skilled and motivated **Production Supervisor** to lead our cabinetry manufacturing team. In this key role, you will ensure efficient production workflows, maintain high-quality standards, minimize rework and overtime, and effectively manage a skilled workforce. **Key Responsibilities**: **Production Planning & Workflow** - Work closely with the General Manager and scheduling team to prioritize jobs and maintain steady workflow progress. - Oversee production planning from inception to completion, ensuring timelines align with productivity benchmarks. - Identify and address potential delays or bottlenecks in production, communicating issues promptly. **Quality Control & Efficiency** - Conduct final inspections to ensure all cabinetry meets the highest quality standards before installation. - Develop and implement quality assurance strategies to minimize defects and rework. - Analyse root causes of lost productivity and implement improvements to enhance efficiency. - Continuously review production processes to optimize workflow and performance. **Team Leadership & People Management** - Provide guidance and support to cabinetmakers and apprentices, fostering a high-performing team. - Lead a skilled workforce with a focus on continuous development, training, and workplace safety. - Ensure company policies and procedures are followed, promoting a strong safety culture. **About You**: - ** Qualified Cabinetmaker** with hands-on experience in cabinetry and joinery production. - Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or workshop environment. - Strong understanding of production workflows, scheduling, and quality assurance. - Ability to identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements. - Excellent communication and people management skills. - A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a commitment to safety and quality. **Why Join Us?**: Gemstone is part of GemLife, who is one of Australia's fastest-growing developers of luxury over 50s residential resorts, Join us and be part of our exciting journey GemLife are known for our architecturally designed and quality-built resorts that showcase the highest standards and luxury fittings.
