**The Role**

Chris O'Brien Lifehouse is seeking a motivated Pharmacist to join the Clinical Applications Team to assist in the implementation of electronic medicines management.

Using your knowledge and experience as a pharmacist you will work within a team to deliver a solution that enables clinical users to order, review, dispense, and administer medications electronically. The key aspects of this role include clinical business analysis, stakeholder engagement and management, project documentation, configuration, testing, and other implementation activities.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Understanding and documenting clinical user requirements and complex hospital medication workflows
- Understanding and adherence to local and legislative requirements in relation to electronic medicines management including PBS requirements
- Configuration of formulary medications in the EMR and any other ancillary dictionaries
- Testing of the end-to-end workflows including testing documentation
- The development of training materials and delivery of training to end users
- Post-implementation support activities
- Any other emerging tasks as requested by the Clinical Projects Manager in relation to changing business needs

**Essential Skills and Experience**
- A registered pharmacist, preferably with clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital, with an interest in electronic medicines management and digital health transformation
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively to a multi-disciplinary team at both clinical and technical levels
- Highly motivated and able to work independently to meet delivery dates
- Familiar with all relevant aspects of hospital pharmacy services including PBS requirements and other relevant eMeds legislation

**Desirable Skills and Experience**
- Experience in electronic medication management implementation and system configuration
