The Role

Reporting to the Business and Governance Manager and working within the assigned business unit, the Business and Governance Officer is responsible for supporting the Business Systems and Support functions within the Major Service Provider (MSP) line of business for KBR. The role will support the Business and Governance Manager on matters relating to commercial, contractual, and financial compliance.

The key importance of this role will be to assist in the fulfillment of the Strategic Panels Program Management Office (SPPMO) requirements on behalf of KBR, which will include partaking in KBR and EY (KEY) team Working Groups, Operations Boards, Management workshops and other associated activities. The role will also liaise Commonwealth of Australia (CoA) representatives including SPPMO in support of MSP line of business execution. Further responsibilities of the role include:
Supporting the program level project controls function.

Works collaboratively with key internal stakeholders to support the delivery of the MSP contract.

Work closely with the Business and Government Manager, to ensure business operational, quality, administrative, governance and compliance functions are properly executed and met.

Supports and where necessary, manages the compilation of business level forecasts.

Provides general oversight of relevant business processes and procedures in relation to governance and compliance; including CCP execution etc.

Supports, and when required, manages the oversight of project account cost controls; including promotion of a consistent approach to management both across Accounts and with relevant enabling functions (ePMO).

Provides support/contribute to business leadership and establishment of clear and open communications with ePMO and enabling functions.

Maintenance of MSP resources to support program/project cross product service and product development needs as required.

Support and where appropriate, manage the development, maintenance and continual improvement of relevant business processes and procedures; including assurance of MSP delivery across all Accounts and consistency with KBR quality standards.

Required Experience, Knowledge and Qualifications

**Essential**:
Previous experience in business management and operational delivery within the Defence and government market.

Proven ability to support and provide successful technical guidance on business management and operational delivery in a Defence/Defence Industry environment.

Proven ability to support and where required, lead high functioning teams.

Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective stakeholder relationships to meet customer needs.

Demonstrated ability to work and support customers on financial and compliance objectives.

Demonstrated ability to support business growth.

Demonstrated experience and exposure to governance and compliance of programs of work, overseeing schedules, budgets and teams to achieve success.

A current AGSVA Baseline security clearance.

**Desirable**:
Tertiary qualifications in business, engineering, management, technology or other relevant fields.

Relevant networks across Defence and Federal government with market/industry knowledge and expertise.
