We are currently seeking a suitably experienced Purchasing Officer to efficiently manage the end-to-end processing of purchase orders for fast-moving items for this privately owned business. If you take pride in the work you produce and enjoy being busy then you will thrive within this dynamic organisation.

Due to ongoing growth and a solid presence in the marketplace, our client is seeking an experienced Purchasing Officer who is able to multi-task and can think on their feet. Working closely with the operations team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that strict timelines are met.

Being solely responsible for managing all purchasing functions, your duties will include:

- Sourcing of products and product lines
- Process requisitions and create purchase orders for external suppliers
- Organise logistics for goods inwards/outwards and receipting of goods
- Manage stock and inventory levels and customers orders
- Implement cost-saving initiatives
- Communicating with management, suppliers and customers
- Implementing a rolling stock take
- Creation of new stock items

To be successful in this role you would ideally understand technical products and have a strong level of attention to detail. Accuracy is essential along with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
