Project Officer role working for the Federal Government, 12 month duration
**Your new company**
Your new company is a Government body that supports a better life for hundreds of thousands of Australians with a significant or permanent disability. They have recently established a transition team to help move from current processes to a new service model and are looking for Project Officers to join for the next 12 months to assist with this process.
**Your new role**
The position will provide operational and administrative support and may undertake some research and analysis activities. Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
- Providing advice, procedural guidance and administrative support to staff and stakeholders.
- Assisting with data remediation and analysis on relevant project activities.
- Assisting and supporting regular project reporting including status updates and exception reports.
- Building rapport and maintain stakeholder relationships to support the delivery of projects.
- Managing, collating, interpreting and analysing data to produce reports and dashboards that inform strategic and operational planning.
- Undertaking project activities including related administrative tasks and functions.
**What you'll need to succeed**
In order to be a strong applicant for this role, the following is desired by the client:
- Past Project and Administrative experience which has included experience with the duties listed above
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Strong organisational skills
- Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with stakeholder effectively
- Experience working in the public sector is desired but not required for this role
