**Donations and Database Administrator 0.6 FTE**

- 0.6 FTE permanent role, can consider some flexibility with hours - based in Camperdown (2050) - WFO role

**About our client**

The Australasian Gastro‐Intestinal Trials Group is a leading cancer research organisation conducting vital clinical trial research and testing new treatments for gastro-intestinal cancer.

The GI Cancer Institute is the public face of the organisation and raises awareness and funds for research into gastro-intestinal cancer.

**Role responsibilities**

The Database Coordinator reports to the Philanthropy Manager and is a key member of the Fundraising Team.

The role will have a focus on processing charitable donations, providing financial administration and support for the Fundraising Program and providing excellent service to donors.
- Process funds (this may be via direct mail/cheques, as well as online via third parties) accurately and in a timely manner, and generate corresponding receipts and letters
- Maintain the quality of data within the database (importing new supporter details, supporting database cleaning strategies and ensuring data from third-party providers is updated correctly)
- Maintain correct coding and recording of payments and donations to the General Ledger as well as provide information to assist with the reconciliation of donations received to the bank accounts
- Take calls/queries from supporters and the general public, providing excellent customer service (ensuring accurate record keeping with all correspondence)

**Essential Requirements**

You will be self-motivated and comfortable working in a quiet, small team environment.
- Experience using a Customer Relationship Management system is a must-have (and experience with Raisers Edge/Raisers Edge NXT will be highly regarded)
- Intermediate computer proficiency, across the Microsoft Office Suite and in particular Excel
- A strong sense of customer service with both internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines without compromising on accuracy
- Excellent communication skills, be able to build strong relationships with all levels of stakeholders
- Be solutions-focused and able to proactively problem solve
