**About the role**
This impressive organisation is seeking a dynamic and experienced State Manager to join their team in Hobart. As the State Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving their mission to promote excellence in governance and leadership across Australia.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve growth targets and enhance the presence of the organisation within the state.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key senior stakeholders, including government agencies, corporate partners, and members.
- Lead and inspire a high-performing team to deliver exceptional member services and support.
- Oversee the planning and execution of events, programs, and initiatives to meet the diverse needs of our clients members.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and uphold the highest standards of governance in all aspects of our clients operations.
- Ultimately drive team culture & take ownership for the business' Tasmanian division

**Skills and Experience**
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role, with a track record of driving business growth and achieving targets.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, coupled with a results-driven mindset.
- A deep understanding of governance principles and a commitment to upholding ethical standards in organisational management.
- Excellent influencing ability with all stakeholders, both internal & external.
- Experience & understanding of working with matrix organisation
- Ability to be both strategic & hands-on / executional
- Highly commercial with a love of networking at senior levels across the state
