Nurtured State is a well established private practice looking for experienced allied health professionals to join our Collective, a team of mental health clinicians specialising in child and youth mental health. We are a very passionate team and value supporting each other's areas of interest and preferred ways of working, whether they be 1:1, group work, workshops, whatever. Nurtured State clinicians are highly experienced especially in the area of eating disorders, borderline personality disorder, autism, trauma, perinatal and infant mental health and family therapy.
Our Collective have a strong sense of team, never feeling like an island, which it can sometimes feel in private practice. We offer a nurturing environment not only for the young people and families we see, but also for clinicians. We welcome applications from experienced psychologists/Mental Health Social Workers; however, we will also consider applications from passionate allied health professionals who are starting their careers. Days and hours are flexible.
Work is available for an immediate start.
Essential criteria:
- registration with AHPRA/Accredited MHSW
- eligibility to register for a Medicare provider number
- a Working with Vulnerable People Card
- an ability to work autonomously and to be reliable
- experience with providing high quality psychological services to a diverse client case load
- excellent communication and rapport building skills
- a dedication to self-reflection and professional development
