Gateways Support Services is a not-for-profit community organisation making a positive difference in the lives of people with a disability or additional needs and their families for more than 20 years providing a range of services including Therapy, Recreation, Support Coordination, Individual Support and Accommodation Services.
We provide evidence-based, family-centered, or client-centered clinical services employing the most effective modality to impact on the lives of clients and their families.
We work to help others live their best lives, using creative, dynamic, and contemporary therapeutic interventions to reach their targets and goals. Our impact and reach include Western Melbourne, Geelong (Barwon) and regional Vic in the Southwest.
**About the role**
The HR Business Partner is one of two HR Business Partners reporting to People Executive and will provide business partnering across Gateways with an emphasis on leadership coaching, change management, development of people capabilities, employee relations support, performance management and workforce planning.
The position provides teamwork within the People team and supports and contributes to professional development programs and training, recruitment best practice, strategic projects, wellness programs and actively promotes cultural change and imbedding of the organisational values.
The role is a full-time position in based in Gateways Geelong head office and has some need to travel on occasional to our other locations.

**Selection Criteria**
- Tertiary Qualifications in Business/HR Management or related qualification.
- Demonstrated HR Business Partnering experience and delivery of high quality professional and expert people advice and services.
- Warm and supportive interpersonal communication skills and ability to coach and inspire people leadership.
- Excellent understanding of contemporary employee relations, interpretation of Awards, EA's and legislation.
- Preferably a strong HR generalist background with experience supporting implementation of strategic plans.
- Previous experience with a disability services or similar industry desirable.
- Current and unrestricted driver’s license, preferably with access to own vehicle.
- Supply a current Working with Children Check for an Employee
- Cleared NDIS screening check prior to commencement
- Complete the NDIS Worker Orientation online training prior to commencement
- Fully Vaccinated (including booster)
**Position Description**.
