**Hourly rates (excluding super)**:
**Monday - Friday**: $24.95
**Saturday**: $31.19
**Sunday**: $37.43

**Avani Melbourne Jazz Corner Residences** is seeking reliable and hardworking **Kitchen Attendants** to join our team. In this essential role, you’ll support the smooth operation of our kitchen and food service areas by maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation behind the scenes.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic hospitality team in a premium Melbourne hotel.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all kitchen and back-of-house areas.
- Operate commercial dishwashers and ensure all kitchenware and utensils are clean and ready for use.
- Assist with basic food preparation and storage under supervision.
- Manage rubbish removal, recycling, and chemical handling safely and efficiently.
- Support stock deliveries and organise storage areas.
- Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth daily operations.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience as a kitchen attendant or in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of hygiene, food safety, and workplace safety procedures.
- Positive attitude and team-oriented approach.
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays.
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks.
