The National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) is seeking a Project Officer, Families and Communities, to provide administration and project support to the development, implementation, and evaluation of a range of events, programs, publications, and other projects aimed at engaging and inspiring families and communities.

ABOUT THE POSITION
You will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality events and projects for families, young people and communities. You will support facilitating online and on-site programs for children, teenagers, and community groups. Other key responsibilities include:

- Providing high-quality administrative support, including creating and updating files, databases, records, and documents.
- Coordinating meetings and agendas, creating and tracking timelines, budgets, and project schedules, and administering invoices
- Supporting the Audience Engagement, Marketing and Media teams with communicating key programs and projects
- Assisting with preparing and collating presentations, reports, and proposals. You will use administrative software such as Microsoft Excel, Planner, PowerPoint, Word, Wordfly and WordPress and databases such as Tessitura.

To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated experience in developing, coordinating, and evaluating innovative, engaging, and high-quality programs, projects or audience engagement experiences within a busy environment in an art institution, educational environment or similar organisation. You will be proactive, adaptable, creative and have an audience-focused approach with a passion for engaging with audiences of all ages. You will also be available to work weekends and evenings as required.

A tertiary qualification in education, art or design is highly desirable.
