THE ROLE
The team will deliver a range of initiatives and supports to Child Protection Managers, Directors and the broader child protection team to assist with recruitment, retention and wellbeing activities in accordance with Child Protection Workforce Strategy 2021-24. The Project Officer will provide local support to the child protection program across the activities of recruitment processes and procedures and will contribute to retention and wellbeing strategies and workforce planning activities lead by the Manager, Workforce Support. The role may require travel to various office locations within the Division and to Melbourne on occasions.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
- Coordinate and deliver recruitment process support including organising, preparing for and participating in interview panels, writing up selection reports and on-boarding new starters.
- Support implementation of retention and wellbeing initiatives within the Division/Statewide Child and Families Operations in partnership with key stakeholders.
- Support and coordinate internal workforce process through current departmental systems, including administrative requirements for, but not limited to: expression of interest processes, Higher Duties assignments, employee /line management/ position transfer processes.
