**Communications Advisor - Annual Reports opportunity**
- Salary of $99,163 pro rata p.a. plus superannuation
- Full-time, 6 month Fixed term contract. Immediate start
- Melbourne CBD location

**Your new role**

Statutory Authority seeks an experienced Communications Advisor for an immediate start for a full-time, 6 month fixed term contract opportunity.

In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery of high quality communications content and support the Corporate Communications Manager with the delivery of brand, internal communications and channel strategies. This role will help to co-ordinate the development and delivery of the Annual Report so previous experience of working on them will be highly regarded. You will be expected to implement initiatives and communications projects that will increase employee engagement and drive the organisation's reputation, brand and image. The role includes content development for digital, print and staff communications, communications planning, budgets and administration, and annual report management.

The position requires a keen eye for detail, ability to manage deadlines and multiple projects, and be a confident communicator.

**Key responsibilities**
- Scope, plan and deliver Communications projects with a particular focus on annual reports.
- Delivery of organisation's flagship publications in digital and hard copy.
- Source, develop and layout content and work with stakeholders and vendors to deliver engaging and relevant content.Develop high-level written communications including speeches, news items, features and regular staff communications.
- Develop communication strategies and recommendations that identify improvements to existing internal processes.
- Deliver a range of events including preparing and adhering to budgets, working with stakeholders, vendors and staff.

**Attributes and Skills**
- 3+ years working experience in an Internal/Corporate Communications role with a strong focus on annual reports.
- Experience managing content and production for high traffic intranet, internet, social media and print.
- Proven working knowledge of sourcing, managing content development and publishing.
- Previous experience in a media or public relations agency experience highly regarded.

**Qualifications**
- Tertiary qualification in Communications, Journalism, public relations, media or related field would be highly regarded.
- Specialist knowledge in Photoshop, InDesign, SharePoint and HTML highly regarded
- A current car licence will be required.
