The Alfred Paediatric Lung Transplant Service is a Nationally Funded Centre (NFC) Program and in conjunction with Alfred Health provides a lung transplant service for children and adolescents within Australia.

**Position Summary**
A rare and exciting opportunity to work as part of the Alfred's dynamic Lung transplant team as a transplant coordinator for the paediatric and adolescent patients within the Transplant services.The Coordinator -Paediatric Lung Transplant Service provides expert comprehensive clinical consultation to paediatric and adolescent patients who are referred to the Alfred Lung transplant service, by working closely with the Head of the Paediatric Lung transplant Service, the referring hospital, the Royal Children’s Hospital, other related transplant paediatric services and members of the specialist multi-disciplinary team.

**Qualifications and Experience Required**

**_ Essential:_**
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with Nursing and Midwifery board of Australia via AHPRA.
- Completion or working towards a Post Graduate qualification in Paediatric Nursing
- Critical care experience is highly desirable
- Clinical experience in Respiratory Medicine and /or Lung Transplantation
- Valid Working with Children Check

**_ Desirable:_**
- Masters of Nursing or higher qualification
- Knowledge of data management
- Experience in presenting work achievements at conferences and other professional forums
- Membership of relevant professional bodies and speciality relevant societies ( TNA; TSANZ; ATCA)
