We are seeking a strategic, values-led leader to guide our Healthy Communities Program — a cornerstone of our work addressing health inequity through co-designed, community-led initiatives.

**About the role**:
As our **Manager - Healthy Communities**, you’ll lead a dynamic team and portfolio that brings our social model of health to life. From our Community Hub and Health Promotion activities to cross-organisational wellbeing projects and relocation planning, this role is all about partnership, participation, and place-based leadership.

You’ll shape strategy, guide team development, oversee funding and reporting requirements, and deepen relationships across the community and sector. The role also includes driving outcomes through data, quality initiatives, stakeholder collaboration, and new project opportunities — ensuring our services remain responsive, innovative, and grounded in community voice.

**About you**:
You’re a people-first leader with a track record of building trust, nurturing strong teams, and creating community-led change. You understand the complexity of health equity, are fluent in population health or health promotion approaches, and know how to take a plan from paper to action with grace.

You’ll bring:

- Tertiary qualifications in Public Health, Health Promotion, Community Services or similar
- At least 5 years of experience in leading community-based programs and teams
- Experience working alongside diverse and marginalised communities
- Strong skills in strategy, stakeholder engagement, reporting, and quality improvement
- A passion for collaboration, co-design, and creating welcoming, safe spaces for all

Bonus points if you also bring postgraduate qualifications, project management experience, or a community language.
