**About the Role**:

As the Head of Community Services, you will oversee and enhance a diverse portfolio of community-focused programs at North Richmond Community Health (NRCH). Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will lead teams across the Centre for Culture, Ethnicity and Health (CEH), Healthy Communities, Outreach and Community Engagement (OCE), Volunteers, and other evolving community service initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

- Providing strategic leadership to ensure the delivery of high-quality, integrated community services.
- Driving service growth, development, and performance excellence across multiple teams.
- Developing strong partnerships with stakeholders to enhance community impact.
- Overseeing program budgets and ensuring financial sustainability.
- Leading service innovation and ensuring alignment with NRCH’s strategic objectives.
- Embedding governance, risk, and compliance frameworks across all community services.
- Championing a culture of inclusivity, respect, and collaboration within NRCH and the wider community.

Key Selection Criteria:

- Relevant qualifications in Community Development, Business Management, or a related field.
- Proven leadership experience in community health or social services.
- Strong financial and operational management skills, including budgeting and funding oversight.
- Experience in strategic planning and the ability to operationalise community service initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to build partnerships with government, health, and community organisations.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a track record of advocating for service improvements.
- Commitment to equity, inclusion, and social justice, with a deep understanding of the Social Determinants of Health.
