Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to work for a large corporate organisation that values innovation, collaboration and excellence? If so, you might be interested in joining this Corporate Relations team as a temporary Corporate Relations Officer. You will be part of a dynamic and diverse team that engages with government, industry and media stakeholders to promote the organisation’s vision, mission and achievements.

**Your new role**

As a Corporate Relations Officer, you will be responsible for a range of tasks that support the Corporate Relations team in delivering effective and strategic communication and engagement activities. Some of the key tasks you will be involved in are:

- Monitoring state and federal parliamentary activities and media coverage and mapping them to the organisation’s priority areas and policies
- Creating government biographies and briefing notes for Government and Corporate Relations
- Assisting with government and industry event planning and execution, including creating and sending invitations, managing RSVPs and handling basic event logistics
- Performing data entry and administration tasks, such as managing ticketing, updating engagement spreadsheets and reporting tools, maintaining contact lists and CRM tool, developing activities in Teams Workspace, providing support for small sponsorships and reports
- Supporting partnership activity and creating a directory of key internal contacts to start planning roadshows

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be considered for this role, you will have:

- A bachelor’s degree in communication, public relations, journalism, marketing or a related field
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role in a corporate or government environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences and channels
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- A high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience in using CRM tools, Teams Workspace and other reporting tools
- A positive attitude, a willingness to learn and a collaborative approach
