**Job Description**:
BESIX Watpac is committed to protecting and preserving our way of life by making our operations more sustainable. We seek a National Sustainability Manager to lead company-wide sustainability and environmental initiatives in close consultation with our senior leadership team.

Reporting to the Group Corporate Affairs Manager, key responsibilities will include:

- Leading the development and implementation of sustainability and environmental strategies, action plans, policies and training aligned with BESIX Watpac’s Sustainability Action Plan.
- Establishing and maintaining company-wide environmental and sustainability key performance and reporting metrics to support continuous improvement toward sustainability goals.
- Providing direction on ESG and environmental regulatory compliance to ensure sustainability objectives are met nationally.
- Managing external relationships with relevant sustainability industry bodies and intermediaries.

**Qualifications**:
The incumbent in this role will require:

- Specialist environmental and sustainability leadership experience within the Construction industry.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing effective and appropriate sustainability, environment management or corporate responsibility strategies.
- Strong understanding of Federal, State and local environmental statutes and legislation.
- Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Engineering, Science, Sustainability or other associated disciplines.
