**About the role**:
The Relationship Associate provides support to the Relationship Director with the ongoing management of their client base. You will be responsible for the end-to-end administration of commercial lending including information input into the relevant systems, creating the loan structure, servicing and work-flow management through to settlement. This role will be based in Melbourne.
**Key accountabilities for this role include**:

- Determine loan servicing, prepare credit submissions and actively manage the loan through the various approval processes.
- Work with autonomy, demonstrating the ability to problem solve and achieve the best outcomes for clients
- Follow business policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and internal requirements
- Oversee Post Settlement requests for Loan Maintenance, Variations, Arrears of Commercial Loans
- Contribute to answering client enquiries received via the 1300 number
- Attend ongoing Commercial Product and Process Training
- Demonstrate being a Proactive Learner, including continuing to grow Knowledge of Commercial Medical Lending
- Ensure consistent and effective relationships with Relationship Directors, Clients, Team Leader and other internal and external stakeholders
- Build client relationships to understand and assist with their overall lending needs.

**To be successful you will have**:

- Relevant work experience, ideally in sales or processing roles within broking businesses, banks or other financial services companies
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of financial analysis, credit writing skills and approval standards to structure loans and determine servicing requirements for our clients
- Adaptable to changing requirements and confident in delivering within tight deadlines and high expectations in a fast-paced environment

- Prior knowledge of the banking or broking industry, the Australian residential and commercial lending market and the regulatory environment would be advantageous
