We’ve been voted World’s Best Bank for the 3rd year running we’re looking for a **Customer Insights Analyst** to help drive our digital channels and contact centre forward as we continue to be Australia’s most recommended bank.

Our Customer Insights team improve service and product offerings by understanding our Customers enquiries, actions and behaviour’s. That’s where you step in Working closely with senior stakeholders and SMEs, you’ll transform business challenges and questions into analytical approaches for insights. Your insights will assist to identify opportunities for value-add, operational efficiency and continuous improvement, helping us to realise our business strategy. You’ll be shaping the way our customers bank, helping them to do their thing. This is an excellent career opportunity for an insights analyst on a data-science path.

This is a 3 months fixed term contract.

**What are you going to do? You will be**
- Liaising with external data providers/stakeholders
- Developing analytics to understand customer behaviours through various channels that will improve quality and accuracy of reporting as well as providing insights to support Business Cases
- Determining the appropriate visualisation for insights
- Writing queries and compiling/providing one-off reports on areas of special focus

**What are we looking for? Someone who has**
- Technical BA proficiency in SQL is essential and Tableau, Business Objects (highly desirable)
- Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint and the ability to effectively communicate a story through data (visualisations, story-telling)
- Ability to listen, clarify and take ownership of tasks with strong oral, written and presentation skills
- Ability to manage timelines, expectations and keep stakeholders/senior leaders informed
- A growth mindset, constantly looking at ways to improve processes and systems
