**About the role**

Are you ready to lead and innovate in the world of finance? We’re seeking a highly skilled finance leader to drive our financial reporting governance framework and oversee our end-to-end financial reporting processes across QIC jurisdictions including corporate and investment entities. In this role, you’ll be the expert, presenting at committee meetings, driving compliance in line with regulations, supporting our reporting platforms and providing guidance and advice across Finance.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Lead the implementation and on-going maintenance of a robust financial reporting governance framework for QIC’s audited and unaudited financial statements.
- Program manage the June year-end financial reporting process for audited QIC entities, and drive related process enhancements.
- Ensure consistency and completeness in financial statement disclosures across different asset classes.
- Manage the preparation of documentation accompanying financial statements for each entity.
- Prepare and present information and decision papers for relevant committees and boards.
- Coordinate and manage auditor meetings and the annual auditor feedback process.
- Lead and participate in various financial reporting initiatives.

**About you**

You will be someone who naturally takes initiative and has a passion for best practice and governance. Ideally you will have a continuous improvement mindset with the ability to adapt and understand activities at the enterprise and process level, bringing alignment to financial reporting and will likely meet the following criteria:

- Degree in Accounting and CA or CPA qualified.
- Prior experience in a large organisation as an audit Senior Manager/Manager.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting requirements and accounting standards.
- Excellent planning, organising, and problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and communication skills, with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as required.
