**The Role**
We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-starting reporting specialist to join the Fraud Control Team, within Defence Integrity Division. Your primary role will be to work closely with our stakeholders to design and produce a range of innovative and informative integrity-related reporting products to inform decision-making at Defence’s highest levels. You will be required to work with sensitive data across a range of platforms and teams, and will establish productive working relationships to ensure Defence’s suite of integrity reporting products convey Defence’s’ progress in line with integrity-related measures. An understanding of data analytics and associated business tools will be required together with an exceptional knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Under the leadership of the Defence Principal Integrity Officer, the Fraud Control team leads and coordinates Defence’s fraud control program, promotes ethical conduct within the Defence portfolio, supports the investigation of fraud, corruption and serious misconduct, and undertakes a, broad range of fraud prevention measures. The Fraud team is a diverse, dynamic and innovative team that has a strong, shared commitment to building an integrity-based culture in Defence.

We are seeking a highly motivated professional who has demonstrated, or the foundation to acquire, the following skills, knowledge and/or attributes:

- Be comfortable working with large and sensitive data sets
- Being able to design a compelling narrative, based on data and evidence
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to acquire concepts quickly;
- Experience in organisational reporting, preferably for fraud and integrity programs
- Advanced knowledge and experience using Microsoft Excel and business intelligence tools
- Ability to work independently, professionally and flexibly, using excellent judgement and exceptional attention to detail;
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team to deliver high-quality reporting and decision-support products
- Ability work collaboratively with a broad range of stakeholders and sustain productive working relationships
