Peoplebank is executing an exclusive search recruitment assignment for a long-term client, a high-profile health services organisation._

Reporting to the Chief Platform Officer, the Head of Technology will own all aspects of technology, delivering outstanding IT services, leading operations whilst transforming IT capability to best support the organisation vision and strategy. You will bring a professional, proactive and inclusive approach, in a role which offers the opportunity to make a real and lasting difference in delivering critical health services to all Australians.

**Your role will include**:

- Demonstrate a broad knowledge and experience across all areas of IT
- Ensuring IT is responsive in providing exceptional service in meeting and exceeding the needs of the business and users
- Outstanding soft skills with the ability to win confidence and trust within the senior stakeholder community.
- Ensuring optimal vendor partnerships and delivery
- The expertise to constructively challenge ideas
- Strong data-driven and strategic solution thinking

**Stakeholder management**
- Lead the technology innovation and enablement roadmap
- Engaging the Senior Leadership Team and key technology stakeholders to effectively 'bring them on the journey'. They will earn trust and buy-in by supporting market differentiation and competitive advantage in delivering outstanding customer outcomes.
- Demonstrating expertise through successful delivery. This approach will elicit support and autonomy for the Head of IT function.
- Ability to exercise substantial initiative and high-level judgement within a complex environment.

**Attributes Required**
- Provide leadership to set and measure IT goals, whilst supporting, enabling and developing IT managers and team members.
- Communicating with senior executives to report on IT initiatives which align to and drive strategic organisational goals.
- Being suited to an SME environment (under 500).
- A style which fits a culture of drive, proactivity, innovation and excellence with a down-to-earth and authentic character
- Leverage technology to deliver purpose-built offices. Enable users through providing a seamless digital experience.

IT is responsive in providing exceptional service in meeting and exceeding the needs of the business and health services user community. The Head of Technology exercises sound judgement in taking ownership for IT decisioning. You will bring the expertise to win confidence from the business, to constructively challenge ideas and to deliver IT excellence.
