We have an exciting ongoing opportunity for a Strategic Adviser in our People and Culture team

Reporting to the Executive Director, People and Culture, this position plays a critical role developing and implementing a People & Culture (P&C) strategy across all P&C functions (industrial, human resource operations, learning and development, organisational development and occupational health and safety).

The role requires an individual to have exceptional knowledge and experience across the full range of P&C functions and proven ability to develop and deliver on P&C strategy in a large organisation.

The position manages emerging issues and areas of risk and ensures effective management of divisional accountabilities and responses including strategic planning, staff communications and training, executive coordination and corporate reporting.

In addition, the role will require strategic leadership and advisory role and is responsible for ensuring the Office of the Executive Director operates effectively and efficiently.

Key to being successful in this role includes:

- Managing relationships with senior stakeholders, both internal and external,
- Understanding the industrial and government environment to resolve complex issues and provide strategic advice
- The ability to think at a big picture level and develop actions
- Being able to deal with concepts and complexity comfortably
