We are working in partnership with a professional, government-based organisation, who due to recent growth are keen to appoint a knowledgeable Payroll Advisor on a twelve-month contract. Long term possibilities highly likely.
You will be sat amongst a small team of finance professionals, based within Head Office, working for this nationally recognised, industry leader who employ over 500 + personnel across Australia.
Their modern offices are conveniently situated amongst the retail hub at Gasworks Plaza, Newstead - so you will never be short of public transport or delicious lunch options
A busy and varied role, you will report into the HR Manager and utilise your wide range of previous payroll experience. Duties include:
- Provide accurate and timely end-to-end payroll processing.
- Manage 3 separate pay calendars on a fortnightly basis, within an outsourced model.
- Report generation, process terminations, redundancies, back pays and superannuation payments.
- Calculate terminations, redundancies and leave entitlements.
- New starter onboarding and employee file maintenance.
- Providing a high level of customer service while assisting employees with their payroll enquiries.
- Maintain a current understanding of awards, legislation, remuneration and tax benefits.
- Assist with ad-hoc admin duties as and when they arise.
