12-month contract with a Federal government department as an EL1 ICT Procurement Specialist.

**Your new role**
- provide high quality procurement advice and strategy to business areas
- manage and/or undertake procurement activities on behalf of stakeholders
- prepare a range of procurement documentation including request for quotations,
- request for tender, business cases, contracts and correspondence for review of
- senior staff
- engage regularly with vendors, clients, and/or stakeholders to ensure
- procurement processes are on track, inform senior executives of progress, and
- consider potential risks and issues
- undertake other procurement related tasks as directed.
- Contribute to knowledge transfer.
**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful in this role you must be an Australian Citizen and have relevant experience in Government Department and / or in a similar position. You must also be able to obtain and maintain a Federal Government Security Clearance (Baseline, NV1 or NV2).
It is imperative that you possess traits such as being self-motivated, possess good judgement and have a demonstrated ability to operate flexibly and under limited supervision. Additionally, it is important that you are able to demonstrate skills and experience in program management, including contract management, financial processing, report compilation, stakeholder management, meeting facilitation and support, and administrative duties.
