**The Role**
Reporting to the Corporate Finance Manager, this role will be involved in all aspects of financial reporting for the CBH Group, including the accurate completion of monthly group financial accounts, budgeting, and forecasting.
A critical component of the role is the completion of monthly reporting for subsidiaries and its financial analysis, ensuring best practice Group Financial Control policies, procedures and processes are implemented and adhered to.
The preparation of annual financial reports for the Group and its subsidiaries is also a key aspect of the corporate finance team deliverables, this role will be supporting this activity. A strong understanding of current accounting standards is therefore critical. In addition, you will have the opportunity to play an important role in streamlining and improving existing models and reporting processes.
This is a 12 month Fixed Term Role
**Key responsibilities**- Completion of the subsidiaries end of month reporting requirements.- Preparation of forecast and budgeting for subsidiary entities- Assist in the preparation of the Annual Financial Report for the CBH Group and facilitate the audit through external auditors- Support accounting for Corporate Services division and assist with ad hoc analysis as required.- Provide guidance and support to the business on accounting policy issues to ensure CBH Group compliance.
**Skills and experience**- Business or Commerce Degree in Accounting- CA or CPA Status (at minimum studying towards)- A minimum of 5 Years accounting experience.- Understanding of group consolidation accounting / process- Understanding of AIFRS and its interpretation is essential.- Strong computer literacy in MS Office (particularly Excel)- Big 4 audit experience desirable- SAP experience desirable
