Accounts Payable Officer required for an immediate start.

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join a leading service business, based in Canning Vale.
- Temporary ongoing
- 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday
- Office based
- Parking available

The responsibilities will include
- Reviewing payment runs.
- Processing of local and international payments
- Checking and verifying invoices
- Creating and maintaining supplier master data.
- Various reconciliations including vendor and GL reconciliation.
- Processing and managing expense claims.
- Responding to all vendors and expense enquiries, internally and externally.
- Preparing analyses of accounts and producing monthly reports.
- Supplier invoice processing as needed.
- Banking and supplier account reconciliation.
- Advising on best practice AP processes.
- Responding to and resolving Accounts Payable related inquiries.
- Process implementation / improvements
- Direct communication with the leadership team.

A CA or CPA will be viewed favourably but is not essential, other attributes will include
- Proven working experience in a high-volume environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Highly proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Confident to liaise with a multitude of stakeholders.
- Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Adaptive. Resilient.
- Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements
- Ability to analyse financial data and provide insights and recommendations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced ever changing environment.
