**About the role**

We are seeking compassionate and reliable mental health worker that have experience in working with clients with mental illness and disabilities. In this role, everyday will be different as you will be travelling to clients homes to assist them with all aspects of care and, to ensure their daily lifestyle needs are met.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Providing individual support services and direct care for people with mental illness and disabilities
- Taking clients/participants into the community
- Maintaining an open communication and reporting any changes in client’s health status
- There may also be some personal care involved in this role.
- Must be able to demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and being attentive to client’s needs is essential.

**Requirements**:
Minimum requirements include:

- Cert IV in Mental Health or equivalent
- First year psychology student
- NDIS worker screening check
- Current driver’s license and own vehicle
- Covid
- 19 proof of vaccination.
- First aid and CPR

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: From $32.25 per hour

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Morning shift

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (required)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (required)
- CPR Certification (required)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (required)

- Australia (required)
