**Role Overview**

We are currently going through digital independence and replacing our Vendor's UI with our own, looking for someone who can initially replicate those screens until Xmas, and then focusing on building a better UI experience.

This is a UI Designer role that will eventually mold into more of a blend of UI/UX, and as the first designer in the business, you will have a clear path to taking a Lead Designer role further down the line (if you want).

We have moved from #11 to #5 best wealth platforms in Australia with a small team of 8 and looking to double this in the next 12 months, with the end goal of an Amazon/Salesforce type SaaS platform.
- Manage design libraries and design systems with adherence to product branding requirements.
- Oversee the development and delivery of effective user interfaces.
- Work with Platform and Product teams to assess the impact of all UI design and usability changes.
- Work with software engineering team to transform UI designs into production-ready solutions
- Assist with user research, interviews, surveys and usability studies, translating findings into wireframes and prototypes

**Skills & Experience**
- Good knowledge of UI design principles and techniques.
- good knowledge of responsive design and mobile UI.
- Strong working knowledge of HTML5/XHTML, CSS3 and JavaScript.
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-stress design process under mínimal supervision.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, and ability to present work to executives and large groups.
