When you join NSW Treasury as the Deputy Secretary, Procurement Reform and Banking you will be empowered to lead the delivery of a high-performing team within the newly formed Procurement Reform and Banking Group. You will play a critical role influencing from the centre of government in NSW.

You will be key to leading and/or supporting fiscal sustainability and value for money for the taxpayers of NSW and promoting sound financial management across the sector.

You’ll be given opportunities to further enhance and develop your skills by joining senior executive leadership training programs and being part of challenging projects.

The Deputy Secretary, Procurement Reform and Banking will provide high levels of strategic and authoritative advice to the Secretary of NSW Treasury, Minister for Finance, Treasurer, Government Ministers, and Cabinet in respect to government procurement, the implementation of Government economic and social policy through procurement, and the crucial re-tendering of the Government's banking services contract, taking account of the whole-of-Government priorities and risks.
