**Your day as an Executive Assistant**
Your typical day-to-day work will includes providing a range of executive, secretarial and administrative support services across a range of complex issues to support the Senior Executive/s achievement of the Group’s strategic and operational objectives.
Proactively building robust relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders is paramount, as is your contribution to improving the delivery of outcomes across the NSW Government through effective communication, collaboration, and advocacy with Treasury teams and agency counterparts.
You will be joining our Procurement Reform and Banking Group and will be working within the Office of the Deputy Secretary. Read more about your future Group and Division.

**Achieve success as an Executive Assistant**
In this integral role there are a few things we would like for you to have to best support yourself and add value to the people of NSW.
- Act as the Senior Executive's point of contact, analyse and assess requests to prioritise matters, and initiate action while exercising discretion and maintaining confidentiality to facilitate the optimal use of the Executive’s time.
- Manage the Executive’s diary appointments, records, and correspondence; coordinate travel arrangements; and schedule and support meetings to facilitate the effective management of the Executive’s operational area.
- Assist in preparing, coordinating, and reviewing high-level communication, including submissions, briefing notes, and correspondence, to respond to issues and inquiries, ensuring sensitive matters are treated with confidentiality, integrity, and maturity.
- Assist in coordinating reports, advice, and briefings on complex policy and operational matters to support informed decision-making and planning.
- Monitor, implement, and evaluate administrative practices, systems, and procedures within the operational area/directorate/division to optimise efficiency and support the delivery of quality outcomes.
- Provide issues management and support as required, responding to emerging issues to ensure effective resolution with mínimal risk to the organization.
